May Book Haul – So I Went a Little Overboard

So, I hauled 53 books this month >.>

But I mean, I went to YALLWEST, and then my brother got me books from his trip to Portland. And I got way more active in the blogging community and, therefore, learned of so many new books! And then I figured out how to use NetGalley and Edelweiss. And then I had finals so I needed retail therapy. And I had a BookOutlet coupon that I of course needed to use. And it was Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, so I wanted to make it a point to look for books by Asian authors.

I completely believe those are all valid reasons for my book acquiring this month! -nods-

However, although I totally think it’s fine to buy as many books as you want whenever you want as long as it’s not detrimental to your health, I’ve made some rules to restrict myself until November.

But book haul first!

That’s everything!
And now for the rules of my sort of book ban that will last until November. I’m trying to restrict my book buying because I’ll be going to Hawaii for a wedding in October and would like to save a little more for it. Space isn’t a problem.

Book Ban Rules:

1. E-arcs are okay.
2. Next in a series/world I just finished are okay.
3. I can buy books with store credit.
4. Trades are okay.
Wish me luck!

Are there any books in my haul that you’re interested in? Have you read any of them? I’d love to hear from you in the comments!
